Every great tool has a story. Here's ours.
The name comes from the creator — Prashanth Kumar. Hidden in plain sight: prashanth → rAsh. A personal signature baked into every score.
"I wanted the tool to carry a piece of me — so I hid my name in it."
Here's the double meaning: Ash is what remains when something burns out. If you're not visible in AI recommendations, your brand is slowly turning to ash — invisible, forgotten, irrelevant.
"Don't let your brand become ash. Check your rAsh Score."
AI is eating traditional search. If AI doesn't recommend you, you don't exist.

Traditional SEO is for Google. rAsh Score is for the AI era. When someone asks ChatGPT "what's the best [your category]?" — are you in the answer?
Because we believe tools should have personality. rAsh carries a personal touch from its creator (Prashanth → prashanth) and a real warning: in the AI-first era, brands that ignore AI visibility are turning to ash. It's memorable, it's meaningful, and it makes you think twice about ignoring your AI presence.
The score is out of 100 and is broken down into four key metrics: Recommendation (40 points), Sentiment (30 points), Prominence (20 points), and Accuracy (10 points). We query 6 AI models (OpenAI, Gemini, NVIDIA, Groq) and aggregate their responses to create a unified visibility metric.
AI models are non-deterministic, meaning they can generate slightly different responses each time they are asked the same question. Additionally, comparing your brand head-to-head against a competitor provides the AI with a different context than a single-brand analysis, which can result in score variations. We use standardized prompting across all our endpoints to minimize this variance as much as possible.
